Open letter on refugee rights
West Coast LEAF is one of over 45 women’s and feminist organizations that signed on to an open letter urging Canada withdraw proposed restrictions on refugee rights that would harm women and children seeking refugee protection from domestic violence. This clawback of the human rights of refugees was buried in a federal budget bill (Bill C-97).
