Letter to the Premier urging coverage for the abortion drug Mifegymiso

In September 2017, West Coast LEAF joined with Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights, Options for Sexual Health, and Island Sexual Health in calling for universal cost-coverage of the abortion drug Mifegymiso to ensure safe and equal access to reproductive health services in BC. We outlined the high standard of universal cost-coverage that would be necessary to protect the right to bodily autonomy, safety, and health, and we offered to share our expertise with the government to support immediate action on this issue.
